Building Bridges Concert: Coming up on Wednesday, February 13th at 7 p.m., it’s the annual Lynnfield METCO Building Bridges concert at the LMS auditorium. .

New Play: The Quannapowitt Players are putting on a new play by Dustin Lance Black, “8,” which focuses on the legal battle over California’s Proposition 8 same-sex marriage ban. Valentine’s Day Concert: So what are you doing on Valentine’s Day? One local idea is that “Rags to Riches” concert in downtown Wakefield on February 14th, featuring the New England Tenors. Tickets are $30. Click here for more information.

Take Your Kids to the Library: This Saturday, February 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., bring your kids by the Lynnfield Library for “Take Your Child to the Library Day.” Enjoy some puzzles, the puppet theater, or the children’s room collections.
