Library now offers passes for Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.

Today is Thursday, Jan. 19. Here are five things you need to know.

Gardner Museum: The Lynnfield Library has announced that as of today, it will be offering passes to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. This museum is home to an impressive and eclectic collection of artworks from multiple historical periods and from various parts of the world – and it just completed a major expansion project so now is a great time to check it out if you haven’t been. The library pass admits up to four individuals at a cost of $5 per person. Call the circulation desk at 781-334-5411 to reserve passes.

OLA Open House:  Our Lady of the Assumption School is holding an open house on Sunday, Jan. 29 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Talks With Tom: Later this winter, parents and community members can ask questions and share ideas with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Thomas W. Jefferson at two informal coffee gatherings called Talks With Tom.  The first of these gatherings is  Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 8 a.m. at Lynnfield Middle School. The second one is Friday, Feb. 3 at Huckleberry Hill Elementary School at 9:15 a.m.

Farm Fresh Produce This Summer: This summer, the community sponsored agriculture program will be back in Lynnfield. A $500 seasonal share nets a box of fresh, locally grown organic produce each week from June until the end of October. .

Brain Health: On Feb. 2 at 12:30 p.m., the Lynnfield Senior Center holds a lunch and lecture focusing on brain health – specifically, on ways to keep the brain healthy through whole food nutrition. The lecture is free but you must sign up at the front desk. Lunch will be available at 11;30 a.m. at the front desk and signup is required at the front desk the day before.
