Girl Scout Troop 60452 hosts murder mystery tea this Sunday for the grades 2-6 age group.

Today is Wednesday, Jan. 18. Here are five things you need to know.

Murder Mystery Tea: This Sunday, Jan. 22 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., Girl Scout Troop 60452 hosts a Murder Mystery Tea for grades 2 through 6 at the . Cost is $10 per child and $5 per parents who would like to participate. Each participant will be assigned to play a character in the murder mystery that unfolds, and will also be given details on their character ahead of time so they can dress the part. There will be boy and girl parts available. To sign up, call Laura at 781-334-6890 or at Dillon.lb@verizon.net. Registration deadline is Friday, Jan. 20.

SEPAC: Tonight at 7 p.m. at the , the Reading and Lynnfield Special Education Parents Advisory Councils (SEPACs) will be co-hosting an informational workshop on Assistive Technology, presented by Karen Janowski of EdTech Solutions. Marrow Donors Needed: A student at reportedly needs a bone marrow transplant in his ongoing battle against leukemia. On Thursday, Jan. 26 from 3 to 8 p.m. in the LMS cafeteria, local residents between the ages of 18 and 60 can stop by and join the bone marrow registry, which is as easy as providing a swab on the side of your cheek. Donations are also accepted, and volunteers are needed. To volunteer, contribute or get involved, call Chris at 781-266-8102. For additional information, call Dana Farber at 1-866-875-3324.

Willy Wonka Kids: Later this month, Lynnfield Community Schools presents “Willy Wonka Kids,” based on the Roald Dahl classic “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” Performances are at Lynnfield High School on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. Tickets are available an hour before each show and also on Tuesday, Jan. 17 in the LHS foyer from 5 to 6 p.m.

Lunch And Lecture: Another upcoming lecture at the will focus on brain health. On Thursday, Feb. 2 at 12:30, stop by for lunch and a lecture. Lunch is $2 and is served at 11:30 a.m., sign up in advance at front desk at least one day prior.
