School committee, board of health meetings set for Tuesday.

Today is Tuesday, Jan. 17. Here are five things you need to know.

Tedd Arnold Birthday: This Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 3:45 p.m. the Lynnfield Library is having a Tedd Arnold birthday party in honor of the creator of the popular “Fly Guy” series. Bring the kids by for stories and a craft.

Town Business: Tonight at 7 p.m., the Lynnfield School Committee meets in the high school media center.  The board of health meets at 5:30 p.m. in the selectmen’s room at town hall.

Tisei Campaign: Richard Tisei opens the headquarters for his congressional campaign this Saturday afternoon, Jan. 21, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 932 Lynnfield Street, Lynnfield, right off the Goodwin Circle Rotary. At 2 p.m. former Congressman Peter Torkildsen is scheduled to introduce Tisei.

Senior Center: On Thursday, Jan. 26, at 12:30 p.m. the senior center holds a lunch and lecture entitled “What’s Next After a Memory Disorder Diagnosis?” Darcy Adams, LICSW from Northeast Senior Health, will discuss critical areas for individuals or their loved ones after a memory disorder diagnosis. The lecture is free, but please sign up in advance at the front desk. Lunch at 11:30 a.m. to $2, sign up before noon the day before.

LHS Sports: The LHS sports teams are getting a break this week, with the next scheduled games set for this Friday.
