Today is Tuesday, January 15th. Here are five things you need to know.

Martin Luther King Jr Birthday Party: This Friday, January 18th at 3:30 p.m., the Lynnfield Library is holding a birthday party in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Librarians will read Dr. King’s “I Have A Dream” speech from a new picture book illustrated by Kadir Nelson. Light refreshments will be served.

Chair Yoga: Join Kathy Riese as she leads you through a gentle form of yoga that is known to help with such illnesses as hypertension, anxiety, chronic pain and more.  Wednesdays at 9:45. $5.00 per 45 minute class.

French Class: Here’s another Wednesday activity at the Lynnfield Senior Center. There’s a new French class that meets on Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. Classes are free but sign up in advance is requested.

Auditions Announced: The Wakefield Repertory Theater is having auditions for the musical farce “Lucky Stiff” on Monday, January 28th and Wednesday, January 30th from 7 to 10 p.m. Visit www.wakefieldrep.org for more information.
