Puppet Show: If you’re looking for a cure for possible cabin fever by Sunday, at 2 p.m. puppeteer Brad Shur performs at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Main Street with Magic Soup in a fundraiser for the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. Dessert Demonstration: Tabatha from Sunrise Assisted Living will be at the Lynnfield Senior Center on Wednesday, February 13th at 12:30 p.m. to demonstrate one of her favorite desserts. Free, but you must sign up.

Play on Sunday: The Quannapowitt Players are putting on a new play by Dustin Lance Black, “8,” which focuses on the legal battle over California’s Proposition 8 same-sex marriage ban. Fresh Air Fund: The Fresh Air Fund is looking for families in the area who would be willing to host a young person from New York City this summer from July 11 to July 22. The organization has worked since 1877 to provide urban children with fresh air experiences in the country. Call 978-744-8531 or visit freshair.org for more information.
