Art In Bloom: With March getting underway, , kicking off on the evening of Monday, March 12.

LHS Sports: The Lynnfield High School varsity hockey team finished the regular season with a 17-3-1 record, and got a #1 seed in the MIAA Division 2 North tournament as a result. Tonight at 8 p.m., the Pioneers play #16 seed St. Bernard’s at 8 p.m. in Watertown.

Also, Lynnfield girls varsity basketball finished the season at 10-10, earning a #10 seed in the MIAA Division 3 North tournament. They play Stoneham in that town Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.

For the boys basketball team, they are the #7 seed in the North Division 4 tournament and they play #10 North Shore Tech at Lynnfield on Thursday, March 1 at 7 p.m.

Presidential Primary Election: Lynnfielders and other Massachusetts residents will vote in the presidential primary election on Tuesday, March 6. Ballots will be cast at Lynnfield High School from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day.
