Reedy Meadow Golf Course: It seems like just last week that it closed down for the winter, but is set to open for the 2012 season on Thursday, March 1. For now, walking only for $10. For more information, call the golf course at 781-334-9877.
Girls Basketball Playoffs: MIAA tournament brackets were released late last week for girls basketball. Lynnfield the #10 seed, plays Stoneham, the #7 seed on Wednesday, Feb. 29 at Stoneham at 7 p.m. The winner of that game will go on to play #2 Swampscott on March 3 in Swampscott.

Town Business: The Lynnfield Selectmen meet tonight at town hall at 7 p.m. The school committee meets at 7 p.m. tomorrow night at the LHS Media Center and the planning board meets at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow night at town hall.
Middle School Volleyball Clinic: Lynnfield Community Schools has a middle school volleyball clinic coming up, with sessions on Wednesday, March 7, Monday, March 12 and Tuesday, March 13 from 3 to 5 p.m. Instructor is Michelle Perrone, coach of the LHS varsity volleyball team, and the fee is $75 for the three sessions. Kids Night Out: To mark Read Across America Day, Boston Sports Club in Lynnfield is holding a Kids Night Out event on Friday, March 2 featuring a Dr. Seuss birthday party. For ages 3-10, cost is $17 for club members and $21 for non-members. Call 781-245-7500 for more information.
