Five Things You Need To Know: Feb. 26

Two new stylists reportedly at the Lynnfield Senior Center beauty salon, and school committee and board of health meetings tonight.

Today is Tuesday, February 26th. Here are five things you need to know.

A Note from the Lynnfield Senior Center: The Lynnfield Senior Center has recently added 2 new stylists to our beauty salon.  Kelly is here on Mondays and Tuesdays, Christine is here Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  The salon offers a full line of colors, cuts, and perms as well as men’s cuts all at reduced prices with the senior in mind.  The center also offers manicures for $10 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Call the center at 781-598-1078 to schedule an appointment. MIAA Basketball Playoff: Lynnfield High School boys basketball plays Manchester-Essex Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Lynnfield in an MIAA quarterfinal game. The winner goes on to play either St. Clements or Malden Catholic sometime after those two teams play on March 1st.

Town Business: The Board of Health meets at 5:30 p.m. in the selectmen’s room at town hall. The School Committee meets at 7 p.m., also in the selectmen’s room at town hall.

Mixing In Math: Tomorrow (Wednesday) from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. , the Lynnfield Library hosts the Mixing In Math after school club for grades 1-4. The kids  explore math concepts through games and activities. No registration required.

Brad Jones Office Hours: The next constituent service hour in Lynnfield for Rep. Brad Jones Jr. is on Friday, March 8 at town hall from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
