Lecture Series: Tomorrow night (Wednesday), a free lecture series commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Americal Civic Center gets underway. John Wall will give a presentation on “The Remarkable Cyrus Wakefield” starting at 7 p.m. Other lectures continue through the spring. Click here for more information.
Historical Society: On February 19th at 7:30 p.m. at the Old Meeting House in Lynnfield Center, the Lynnfield Historical Society welcomes author/journalist Stephanie Schorow for a talk on the Coconut Grove fire, which killed 492 people in Boston in 1942 and which influences law and other areas to this day.
Lego Night: Later this week, the Lynnfield Library has a Lego night Thursday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. Geared to kids ages 6 and up, the library supplies the Legos.
From the Lynnfield Senior Center -Michelle Caron from the American Society of Legal Nurse Consultants will lead an interactive discussion that centers around sexuality, closeness and the need to be involved with others.
