Today is Friday, Dec. 9. Here are five things you need to know.
Gospel According To Scrooge: The Calvary Christian Church is preparing its annual production of “The Gospel According to Scrooge.” Their show dates are Friday, Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 11 at 6:30 p.m. If needed, there will be a snow date performance that Monday, Dec. 12. Lynnfield Educational Trust: This weekend, you can help raise money for Lynnfield schools by going and enjoying a performance of The Nutcracker at the Lynn Memorial Auditorium in City Hall Square, Lynn. Performances are Friday, Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m., Sat. Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. Tickets are available by calling 781-581-2971 or by going to www.lynnauditorium.com. Just enter the school code "LET" when purchasing tickets.

Art Show And Sale: Looking ahead to the weekend already, on Saturday the Lynnfield Art Guild holds its winter show and sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Old Meeting House. Chances are there could be some good holiday gifts by local artists and artisans for sale.
Breakfast With Santa: Also happening this upcoming Saturday, the Centre Congregational Church is having breakfast with Santa from 9 to 11 a.m. $5 per person - kids under 2 are free. Call 781-334-3050 to make a reservation.

LHS Music: Two upcoming music events at Lynnfield High School have switched their dates. The Holiday Coffee House is now scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m., while the Winter Concert is on Tuesday, Dec. 21, also at 7 p.m.
