Town Business: The town website indicate that the selectmen and finance committee hold a joint meeting tonight at 7 p.m.

Gospel According To Scrooge: The Calvary Christian Church is preparing its annual production of “The Gospel According to Scrooge.” Their show dates are Friday, Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 11 at 6:30 p.m. If needed, there will be a snow date performance that Monday, Dec. 12.  The church also posted a video on Youtube previewing the show. Breakfast With Santa: Also happening this upcoming Saturday, the Centre Congregational Church is having breakfast with Santa from 9 to 11 a.m. $5 per person - kids under 2 are free. Call 781-334-3050 to make a reservation.

Anyone For Tea? Looking ahead to next week, the Lynnfield Library’s Curious About Cuisine group holds an English Tea on Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 3 to 4 p.m.
