Today is Tuesday, December 4. Here are five things you need to know.

Town Business: Tomorrow evening (Wednesday) at 7 p.m., it’s the annual town budget summit at the senior center on Salem Street. This is an early step in the town budget process for the coming year.

Cookie Decorating: Today at 2 p.m. the Lynnfield Library has a Cookie Decorating event planned to mark National Cookie Day. Bring the kids down to hear some cookie-themed stories and to enjoy decorating some cookies – provided by the library.  No registration required.

Gingerbread Construction: Lynnfield Community Schools has announced a Gingerbread House Construction class on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The price is $35. Call LCS at 781-334-5814 to register.

Chair Yoga: On Wednesdays, the Lynnfield Senior Center offers chair yoga with Kathy Reise at 9:45 a.m. Classes are $5, but your first one is free.

Chris Herren: The Wakefield Warrior Club has announced that former NBA player Chris Herren will speak in Wakefield on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 7:00PM at the Galvin Middle School Auditorium about his battles with substance abuse. The event will be open to the entire community and will be free of charge. Click here for more information.
