Today is Friday, December 28th. Here are five things you need to know.

Missing Cat: A Lynnfield resident reports a missing orange cat with patches of white, short hair and large white front double paws, last seen Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 40 Walnut Street, near Reedy Meadow and the Mill Pond area. The cat has an ID around its neck with its vet’s number. If found, please call 781-334-6690 or Animal Hospital of Lynnfield at 781-334-4161.

Vacation Week Activity: This morning at the Beebe Library from 10 to 11:30 a.m., bring the kids (aged 3 and up) by for a snowy finger paint extravaganza. Bring a shirt or apron to cover the kids’ clothes. No registration required.

Rally 4 Reynolds: Coming up on Saturday, January 12th, help a local family fight leukemia. Rally 4 Reynolds is at the Wakefield Elks Club from 7 to 11 p.m., tickets are $25 for a buffet dinner, music, raffles, silent auction and more. Proceeds will help Keith Reynolds and his family, all Wakefield residents, as they meet the challenges of an acute lymphoblastic leukemia diagnosis.

Anna Tourkakis: On Wednesday, January 9th at 3 p.m., Anna Tourkakis, a nutritionist and author of the cookbook “Delicious Simplicity” is at the Lynnfield Library to give a presentation on fun and healthy drinks. Anna is a Lynnfield resident who also spoke last year to members of the library’s Curious About Cuisine group.
