Five Things You Need To Know, Dec. 27

Today is Thursday, December 27th. Here are five things you need to know.

Food For Fines: Between now and Friday, January 4th, you can drop off a canned good with your overdue books at the Lynnfield Library and get $1 off your fines for each item. Bring in boxed cereals, baby formula or diapers and get $4 off your fines.

Lynnfield Youth Lacrosse: Registration is open until January 2 for Lynnfield Youth Lacrosse. Fee is $195 and games are on Sundays during the springtime. Open to boys in grades 1 through 8.  To learn more or to register, click here.

Weather: The National Weather Service forecast for the area notes that wind gusts could approach 49 mph during the day on Thursday and remain high into the evening. There’s a chance of snow tonight, but no accumulation is expected. This weekend will also see a chance of snow.
