Five Things You Need To Know: Dec. 27

Board of Health holds flu clinic tonight from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Today is Tuesday, Dec. 27. Here are five things you  need to know:

LHS Sports: students are on vacation this week, but the sports calendar remains active. Today at 10 a.m., the boys wrestling team is participating in the Pentucket Tournament. At 1 p.m. the Boys varsity hockey team is playing in the Saugus Tournament against Danvers.

Flu Clinic: The Lynnfield Board of Health will hold a flu clinic at its office in town hall on Tuesday, Dec. 27 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for individuals aged 9 and up. Flu mist is also available. No allergies to eggs or egg products, and no history of Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS). Most insurance accepted, $10 fee if not.

Senior Center Activities: The has a new Zumba class for seniors on Mondays at 9 a.m., just $5 per class at the door. Individuals are welcome to observe a class before joining. The senior center also has a free new beginners French class starting on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 1:30 p.m.

Lego Night: Tomorrow night, Dec. 28, the holds a Lego night for kids aged 6 and up from 6 to 7 p.m. The library will provide the Legos.

Town Business: The next meeting of the Lynnfield School Committee is Tuesday, Jan 3 at 7 p.m. in the high school media center.
