Five Things You Need To Know: Dec. 26

Today is Monday, Dec. 26. Here are five things you need to know:

New Year Party: Bring the kids by the Lynnfield Library on Friday, Dec. 30 at 11:30 a.m. for a new year's party featuring stories and a craft, as well as their annual countdown with a ginger ale toast.

Monday Sports: The LHS basketball teams are playing in the Pope John Christmas Tournament starting today. Girls varsity plays at 1 p.m. against Saugus, while the boys varsity team has a 3 p.m. game against Revere.

Saugus Tournament: The annual Saugus Hockey Tournament begins this week, with Lynnfield High School set to play Danvers on Tuesday at 1 p.m.

Flu Clinic: The Lynnfield Board of Health will hold a flu clinic at its office in town hall on Tuesday, Dec. 27 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for individuals aged 9 and up. Flu mist is also available. No allergies to eggs or egg products, and no history of Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS). Most insurance accepted, $10 fee if not.
