Five Things You Need To Know, Dec. 13

Numerous musical events in the local area in the coming days.

Today is Thursday, December 13. Here are five things you need to know:

LHS Winter Concert: The annual Lynnfield High School winter concert is tonight at 7 p.m. in the LHS auditorium. A number of the school's musical groups are expected to perform. The public is welcome and admission is free.

LCC Coffeehouse: This Friday, Dec. 14, the new coffeehouse series at Lynnfield Community Church (735 Salem Street)  continues with a performance by folk singer/songwriter Ashley Wells. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., show starts at 7:45 p.m. Click here for more information about LCC Coffeehouse events.

LHS Coffeehouse: Speaking of coffeehouse events, the LHS Holiday Coffee House is Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. in the high school music room featuring solo and group music from the choral and band departments. Admission is $5 and refreshments will be included.

Messiah Sing: Coming up next Friday, Dec. 14, the First Parish Congregational Church at 1 Church Street over in Wakefield presents the Wakefield Community Messiah Sing at 7:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

Annual Concert At The Library: Looking ahead to next week, on Wednesday, Dec. 19, the LMS and LHS choral groups present their annual holiday concert in the reading room of the Lynnfield Library. Starts at 7 p.m.
