Today is Monday, December 10. Here are five things you need to know.

Recipe Swap: This Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 3 p.m., stop by the Lynnfield Library for a holiday recipe swap with the Curious About Cuisine group. Call Barbara Adams at 781-775-1240 and let her know your recipe selection.

Holiday Card-Making: Also on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., drop by the Lynnfield Library for holiday card-making with rubber stamps and other craft supplies provided by the library. All ages are welcome and light refreshments will be served.

Town Business: The Lynnfield School Committee meets at 7 p.m. in the high school media center.

The Stacee L. Monkiewicz Foundation is holding its 2012 Christmas Gala on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Sheraton Colonial. Entertainment provided by Boston-based cover band Spike The Punch. Passover Band: This Saturday, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m., the Passover Band – a progressive folk rock band with music based on Jewish themes -plays at Temple Emmanuel in Wakefield. Tickets are $18 ($10 for those under 13) at the door. For more info call 781-245-1886 or go to www.wakefieldtemple.org.
