Lynnfield 9/11 Memorial Committee: The committee meets next on Tuesday, August 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Lynnfield Fire Headquarters. If you are interested in getting involved, volunteers are still needed to help put up flags in honor of those who died in the 9/11 attacks. Volunteers are also still sought to sing in a community choir being organized for the memorial ceremony on Sunday, September 11, and to read off names of those who died in the attacks. Haven From Hunger: If you'd like to show some support for Haven From Hunger while getting a shopping bargain, here's something. Haven From Hunger, which provided food aid to Lynnfield, Salem and Peabody residents has a "shop for a cause" effort underway where purchasing a $5 card gives the bearer 25 percent off at Macy's on Saturday, August 27, as well as a chance to win a $500 gift card from the store. Lunch Bunch: On Thursday, the has lunch bunch gatherings at noon, featuring folk tales from around the world, geared toward ages 6-12.
