Today is Friday, August 17. Here are five things you need to know.

Mosquito spraying: As , the town was scheduled to spray for mosquitos last night around Main Street. This was because a mosquito in nearby Reading tested positive for the EEE virus. A public service announcement here from the Lynnfield Board of Health has more about avoiding mosquito-borne illnesses.

Bus Routes: The Lynnfield School District has released its bus routes for the 2012-2013 school year. They will be posted on Lynnfied Patch Friday morning.

Constituent Service: Today from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Rep. Brad Jones or a member of his staff holds a constituent service hour at Lynnfield town hall.

Weather: The area’s weather report has a moderate chance of more thunderstorms, although overall, the weekend is looking pretty good. The National Weather Service calls for a high of 88 on Friday with a 40% chance of precipitation tonight. Chance of precipitation is 40% Saturday and 30% on Sunday.
