Public Safety Alerts: The Lynnfield Police Department has announced that it will resume using its account on Nixle.com to send out public safety messages. To sign up to receive announcements, click here.

Family Fun: Next Wednesday, August 17 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., the in Lynnfield is holding a family carnival featuring fun activities like a water balloon toss, a minute to win it competition, and a dunk tank.

Senior Center Exercises Classes: On Thursdays, the holds various exercise classes. Zumba drumming is at 8:50 a.m., chair exercise at 9:25 a.m., yoga at 10 a.m. and Jazzercise Lite at 11 a.m.

Lunch Bunch: Back to school time is rapidly approaching, which means that the noontime lunch bunch gatherings will be winding down soon. The events feature folk tales from around the world geared toward ages 6-12. According to the library's events calendar, next Thursday, August 18 is the final Lunch Bunch of the summer.
