Candidates Night: Tonight at 7 p.m., the PTO is holding a candidate night at the school. The public is welcome to attend. Candidates for selectman and school committee are expected to be on hand.
Lynnfield Girls Softball: Registration for Lynnfield Recreation girls softball is next Wednesday, April 11 starting at 6 p.m. at the middle school. The program is for girls in grades 2, 3 and 4 and the fee is $65. Games and practices are at Summer Street School and run from early May to mid-June. Paws For A Cure: Organizers are currently preparing the 5th annual Paws For A Cure Walk for Sunday, May 20 at 1 p.m. The event goes around the shore of Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield. For more information, visit www.paws4acure.org.

FOLL Book Sale: On May 19, the Friends of the Lynnfield Library will hold their annual book sale during the town’s Geraniumfest celebration. The group has begun accepting donations of books, DVDs and music CDs. Donations may be left at the library circulation desk, or you can call call FOLL Board Member Alexis Gilbode at 781-608-4179 to arrange to have the donation picked up at your home and for a receipt to be provided.
