Five Things You Need To Know: April 25

Today is Wednesday, April 25. Here are five things you need to know.

LHS Coffee House: The next coffee house event at is this Wednesday, April 25 at 7 p.m. in the LHS cafeteria. The event features the musical talents of LHS students and admission is $5 to benefit the school’s music department programs.

New Library Hours: The Lynnfield Library has announced new hours. Starting May 1, the library will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, extending evening service by one hour. The library will also be open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. this summer, from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

LHS Sports: Today on the LHS sports calendar, the track team is at home with a 3:30 p.m. meet against Pentucket, while the girls varsity tennis team plays on the road against Amesbury at that time.  At 3:45 p.m., the varsity and JV softball teams both play North Andover at home, and at 4 p.m., the boys varsity tennis team plays Amesbury.

Senior Center Breakfast: On Saturday, May 19t h, the is having breakfast at the Ninety-Nine on Salem Street. Breakfast is from 8 to 10 a.m. and includes pancakes, bacon, coffee, juice and milk. Purchase tickets for $5 in advance at the senior center.
