Today is Monday, April 8th. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Town Election: Today is Lynnfield’s town election. Polling is at Lynnfield High School and voting runs from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Town Meeting April 30th: Looking ahead, the town meeting is on Monday, April 30th at 7:30 p.m. at the Lynnfield Middle School Auditorium.

It’s TV Turnoff/Screen Free week, and magician Stephen Brenner is at the Lynnfield Library on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. with a show that is geared toward elementary school-aged students. This is sponsored by the PTOs at the Huckleberry Hill School and Summer Street School plus the Friends of the Lynnfield Library.
