Five Things Worth Knowing Today: 'Lucky Stiff' Play Continues This Weekend

Town Business: The planning board has scheduled a public hearing at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24th to discuss the proposed medical marijuana moratorium that will be put before voters at the April 29th town meeting.

Story Time: Coming up Monday from 10 to 10:30 a.m., the Lynnfield Library holds a story time for children aged 2 to 3. No registration required.

From the Lynnfield Senior Center: Lunch and a Lecture - Early Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s disease - Mary Demakes, RN will present a lively informative discussion that will provide insight to this disease and helpful tips on how to cope. Learn how certain lifestyles reduce the risk of the disease and take the steps necessary to improve your life today. Thursday, May 2 at 12:30. Free. Please sign up. Lunch will be served at 11:30 for $2.00/$3.00. You must sign up for lunch by noon the day before.

Supporting Marathon Victims: Christy Dole, owner of Balance Yoga Studio at the rear of 364 Main Street in downtown Wakefield, has a few more classes this week that will be donation only for the Marathon bombing victims – specifically, her 9:30 a.m. Thursday and Friday classes, plus her 6:15 p.m. Friday class. Wakefield Repertory Theatre: This weekend from the Wakefield Repertory Theatre, with performances running April 19-21 at the Lynnfield-Wakefield United Methodist Church, 273 Vernon Street in Wakefield.
