Five Things Worth Knowing Today: Concussion Education and Lego Night

Today is Wednesday, March 20th. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Concussion Education: The SLICE concussion education program is tonight at 7 p.m. in the Lynnfield Middle School Auditorium. The interactive program is geared toward students in grades 4-12, plus their parents and coaches, and is run by Boston University medical students. Click here for more information.

Scholarship: Each year, the Centre Club of the North Shore awards a $1,500 Lynnfield Social Club scholarship to a graduating senior who lives in Lynnfield. .

Lego Night: Tonight from 6 to 7 p.m., bring the kids aged 6 and up by the Lynnfield Library for some fun with Legos. The library provides the Legos.

Journeys of Hope Fundraiser: Coming up on Monday, March 25th, dine at the Ninety-Nine Restaurant in Lynnfield to help support Journeys of Hope, a local nonprofit that helps support homeless teens. Dine between 5 and 10 p.m. and 15% of your check will be donated to the organization. A voucher will be posted on this website later in the day.

Antique Fair: The First Parish Congregational Church in Wakefield holds its 42nd annual antique show and sale this Friday, March 22 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
