Five Things Worth Knowing Today: Candidates Night and Father/Daughter Dance Tickets

A look at what's coming up in and around Lynnfield.

Today is Thursday, March 21st. Here are five things you need to know.

Father/Daughter Dance: Tickets for the 2013 Lynnfield Father/Daughter Dance are now on sale. You can print out a registration form on the Lynnfield Recreation Commission website or you can stop in and get them from the recreation director during the following hours: Thursday, March 21 from 9 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 26th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m., and Thursday, March 28th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Candidates Night: The Lynnfield Business Coalition will hold its annual candidates night on Thursday, March 21 in the LHS auditorium at 7 p.m. Participating candidates will present a prepared statement and will take questions from the audience as well as prepared questions.

Double The Stuff Sale: This Sunday, March 24th,from 9:30 a.m. to noon, it’s the “Double The Stuff Spring Sale,” held by the North Suburban Parents of Multiples, at the Americal Civic Center, 467 Main Street in Wakefield. Check out their Facebook page here.

From the Lynnfield Senior Center: Lunch and a Lecture: Treasures from the Trash: Before you throw out the “junk” from the basement, listen to what Henry Jensen has to tell us.  Tuesday, April 2nd at 12:30. Free. Please sign up. Lunch will be served at 11:30 for $2.00/$3.00. You must sign up for lunch by noon the day before. Please sign up separately for lunch and the lecture.
