Blood Drive: The Red Cross has announced that its next blood drive in Lynnfield is Saturday, May 4th from 8:30 a.m  to 2 p.m. at Lynnfield Middle School.

From the Lynnfield Senior Center: Lunch and a Lecture - Early Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s disease. Mary Demakes, RN will present a lively informative discussion that will provide insight to this disease and helpful tips on how to cope. Learn how certain lifestyles reduce the risk of the disease and take the steps necessary to improve your life today. Thursday, May 2nd at 12:30. Free. Please sign up. Lunch will be served at 11:30 for $2.00/$3.00. You must sign up for lunch by noon the day before.

American Musical Greats Lecture: This Thursday, May 2nd, William Sano continues his lecture series on American musical greats at the Old Meeting House, 10 a.m. to noon. This week’s lecture will focus on Barbara Streisand and her music.

Story of Luke: Susan Parziale reports that her request for a showing of the fim “The Story of Luke” has been approved at the AMC Loews Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers for Tuesday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12. For a trailer and ticket info, click here.

Golf: Starting on Tuesday, May 7th, the Reedy Meadow Golf Course holds a Junior May After School Clinic. Fee is $130 for five 90 minute sessions running on Tuesdays and Thursdays through May 21st. Registration form is here.
