Five Things Worth Knowing Today: A Coffeehouse and Girl Scout Cookies

A look at what's coming up in and around Lynnfield.

Today is Friday, March 22nd. Here are five things you need to know.

Girl Scout Cookies: Are you looking for any Girl Scout cookies? Word is that Troop 60528 will be out selling them tomorrow (Saturday) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Post Office Square parking lot.

Coffeehouse: The next coffeehouse event at the Lynnfield Community Church is tonight, with the doors opening at 7:30 p.m. and the show starting at 7:45 p.m. Doug Kwartler is the musical guest.  Click here for more information.

Father/Daughter Dance: Tickets for the 2013 Lynnfield Father/Daughter Dance are now on sale. You can print out a registration form on the Lynnfield Recreation Commission website or you can stop in and get them from the recreation director during the following hours: Thursday, March 21 from 9 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 26th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m., and Thursday, March 28th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Lynnfield Men’s Over-40 Softball League has announced that the sign-up night for all new players interested in playing in the league this coming season is Wednesday, April 3, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Lynnfield High School cafeteria.

Story Time: Each Monday, the Lynnfield Library has a story time from 10 to 10:30 a.m. for children aged 2 to 3. No registration is required.
