Five Things: Two Upcoming Musical Events at LHS

A look at what's coming up in and around Lynnfield.

Today is Tuesday, May 14. Here are five things worth knowing today.

LHS Musical Events: Here are two upcoming musical events featuring the talents of Lynnfield High School students. On Wednesday May 22 at 7p.m. it’s the annual LHS Pops Concert and Music Awards. Admission is free and the public is welcome. Then on Tuesday, May 28 in the LHS cafeteria, the students hold their final coffeehouse event of the year. Admission is $5.

Lynnfield’s annual Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides Walk is coming up on Sunday, May 19th at 10 a.m., starting at the Old Meeting House. For information on getting involved or making a donation, click here.

The Lynnfield Art Guild
has its annual spring fine arts and crafts judged exhibition coming up Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Centre Congregational Church.

Cooking Demo: Tabatha from Sunrise Assisted Living will be back at the Lynnfield Senior Center on Wednesday, May 22 at 1 p.m. to share her recipe for Sautéed chicken with fresh Mango Salsa. Please sign up at the front desk in advance.
