Book Group: This Thursday, March 14th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Lynnfield Library’s BookLover’s group discusses “The Buried Book: The Loss and Recovery of the Great Epic of Gilgamesh” by David Damrosch

Presidential Landmarks: The next meeting of the Lynnfield Historical Society is on Tuesday, March 19th at 7:30 p.m., featuring a talk by David Kruh on the presidential landmarks of New England.

Peeps Contest: There’s some time left to get involved in the Peeps diorama contest held by Girl Scout Troop 60071. The entries will be displayed later this month at the Lynnfield Idol final at LHS. Entries must be dropped off by Sunday, March 24th. Click here for more information.

Vanity Hair Salon is holding a Cut-a-Thon fundraiser for the new Boys & Girls Club in Wakefield this Saturday, March 16th from 1 to 5 p.m. The salon, located at 979 Main Street in Wakefield, will have discounted $30 cuts for women and girls and $15 for men and boys.  Call 781-245-5040 to make an appointment or to get more information.
