Five Things To Know: MIAA Final Game and Musical Hysterics

Today is Friday, March 8th. Here are five things you need to know.

MIAA Tournament: The Lynnfield High School boys basketball team plays Snowden in the MIAA North Division 4 final game tonight at 7:45 p.m. at Emmanuel College.

Musical Hysterics: Coming up on Sunday, March 10th at 3 p.m., Noel Smith and her musical students put on their “Musical Hysterics” concert at Centre Congregational Church with proceeds to benefit local nonprofit group Gathering Change. Click here for more information.

St. Patrick’s Day Party: One week from today, they’re having a St. Patrick’s Day party at 1 p.m. for the kids at the Lynnfield Library. They’ll hear stories with an Irish theme and will even get a performance from some young Irish step dancers. There will also reportedly be a make your own baked potato smorgasbord.

Town Business: The Lynnfield selectmen meet Monday at 7 p.m. in the selectmen’s room at town hall.

School Budget Hearing: The Lynnfield School Committee has announced a budget hearing for Tuesday, March 19th at 7 p.m. in the selectmen’s room at town hall. The public is welcome to attend.
