Five Things To Know: Ancient Grains and Concussion Education

A look at what's coming up in and around Lynnfield.

Today is Wednesday, March 13th. Here are five things you need to know.

Ancient Grains: Today at 3 p.m. at the Lynnfield Library, drop by the Curious About Cuisine meeting and learn about nutritious “ancient grains” such as quinoa and millet.

Concussion Education: The SLICE concussion education program is on Wednesday, March 20th at 7 p.m. in the Lynnfield Middle School Auditorium. The interactive program is geared toward students in grades 4-12, plus their parents and coaches, and is run by Boston University medical students. Click here for more information.

Food Pantry Fundraiser: On Saturday, March 16th at 8 p.m., they’re having a concert at Temple Emmanuel, 120 Chestnut Street, Wakefield, to raise funds for the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. Musicians Kim and Reggie Harris are performing, as is singer and folk guitarist Rabbi Jonathan Kligler. Click here for more information.
