Five Things: Annual Plant Sale is Saturday at Old Meeting House

A look at what's coming up in and around Lynnfield.

Today is Monday, May 6. Here are five things to know today.

A Note from The Flower Workshop of Lynnfield: The Flower Workshop of Lynnfield will be having its annual Plant Sale this Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Old Meeting House on Lynnfield Common.  We are excited about having a Massachusetts Master Gardener present to answer all plant questions from the public.  Our sale offers hearty native perennials from members’ gardens, luscious colorful annuals from a local nursery, herbs and vegetables, hanging flowering planters, Mother’s Day gift table and a silent auction with some gorgeous urns, chair planter and other specialty items.  Proceeds from the sale go towards enhancement plantings at the Lynnfield Public Library as well as other Town properties, such as the Historical Centre and Senior Center.

Town Business: Lynnfield selectmen meet tonight at 7 p.m. in the selectmen’s room at town hall.
