Five Things: Annual Golf and Tennis Outing Coming Up

Town Business: Lynnfield selectmen meet tonight at town hall at 7 p.m.

Note from Lynnfield Rotary: Lynnfield Rotary is hosting its annual golf and tennis outing on Friday, June 21.  We are currently seeking players.  Golf will be played at Reedy Meadow Golf course in the Center and Tennis will be played at Boston Sports Club.  If you are interested in Golf please contact Tom Adamzyck at tomadamzyck@hotmail.com  Shotgun at 1 p.m., entrance fee: $100. If you are interested in tennis please contact Ellen Crawford at ELPC18@aol.com or 334-2823.  1 p.m. start time, entrance fee: $50.  Fee includes BBQ dinner at the Golf Course.

A note from Centre Congregational Church: Centre Congregational Church invites children ages 4-10 to the "Everywhere Fun Fair: Where God’s World Comes Together." Come one, come all to an interactive and energizing Vacation Bible School program that gives children a chance to discover God’s welcoming love! The fun begins July 15  and ends July 19 from 9:30 am to 12pm at Centre Church, 5 Summer Street, Lynnfield.  The week will include theme centers of an international street fair including crafts, science, bible stories, snacks, games, and more! Reid's Ride: The 9th annual Reid’s Ride is on Sunday, July 21. Cyclists leave Lynnfield High School parking lot and ride 28 miles, raising funds to help fight cancer in young people.  To learn more or to get involved, click here.

The 36th annual Fire Truck Parade and Show is Saturday, June 8th. The parade starts at 10 a.m. at the Lynnfield High School parking lot and goes down Summer Street and Salem Street to Audubon Road in Wakefield. The fire-matic flea market goes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Edgewater Park.
