Facebook Poll: Which Former Lynnfield Restaurant Would You Bring Back?

From time to time, Lynnfield Patch asks readers to share their opinions about local matters on its Facebook page.

This week, the Mount Vernon restaurants company announced on its Facebook page that it has closed its locations in Lynnfield and Revere, while keeping its Somerville location open. Those who currently hold gift cards and vouchers to the former in Lynnfield can still use them at the Somerville restaurant.

That said, The Ship is one of the most prominent longtime landmarks on Route 1 - one that dates back to well before the time it became affiliated with Mt. Vernon. Looking ahead, town residents will be very interested in learning whether whoever ends up with the property next will keep this boat-shaped landmark in place.

For now, this news invites a question to all readers - if there was a single restaurant in Lynnfield that you could bring back, what would it be? I've added eight options on our Facebook page, ranging from the Towne Lyne House to the Naked Fish. If I forgot one, you can add it.
