5 Things To Do This Weekend

Family Fun-Fest at Boston Sports Club, football season opener Saturday morning in Lynnfield.

When/Where: 9:00am, Saturday, Main St & Church St, Wakefield.

Why Go: Take part in the 10th Annual Walk of Hope for ALS. This family event raises money for ALS (LouGehrig's Disease) research. Registration is from 9 - 11 am. The Walk begins at 11:00 am with particpants walking around Lake Quannapowitt. There is music, childrens games and rides, food and the special release of the doves.

Why Go: Show your support and cheer on the varisty football players as they try to take down Newburyport.

Why Go: Go and try a free "Just Try It" Class. Classes offered are Group Swim Lessons, Tennis Evaluations, Kidspin, Kids Yoga and Youth Sport Conditioning. Swim Safety demonstrations and information will be provided in addition to face-painting, tattoos, and refreshments.

Why Go: Go to a block party  and enjoy music, games, a cookout and more. Don't miss out.

When/Where: 12:00pm, Sunday, Haven St & High St, Reading.

Why Go: The Reading Fall Street Faire will feature live music, dance and street performers, arts and crafts vendors, local artists and product demonstrations, moon-bouncers, face painting, train rides, Antique Car Show, Restaurant and Food Vendors, and Pumpkin Decoration. The event will also be kicked off with the 2nd Annual Fall Street Five-K.
