Martial Arts for Women - Its a must

Martial Arts classes are for women too, and its not as hard as you think! They make you stronger physically and mentally.

Most women shy away from martial arts, they think it is something for their children, husband, brother ,but not them. This could not be more wrong.  Many schools offer special self defense courses for women, teaching techniques against an attacker and learning how to avoid potentially dangerous situations. That is a great way to get  introduced to Martial Arts.   Martial arts can play an important role in a woman's life and is a great way to help build confidence, strength and skills. Even after a few weeks of training, many women report they are feeling stronger physically and mentally.  In this crazy world we live in, that seems to be getting even more crazy, we must take measures to protect ourselves and increase our confidence level.  You can go to the gym or run to be physically fit, but are you mentally fit?  As a runner and martial artist, I find that running is 50% mental and my martial arts training has helped me complete 3 Disney Goofy challenges and 2 Boston Marathons.  It has boosted my confidence and more importantly has made me aware of my surroundings.  I know going to a gym and working out does not do that.  Classes are for every shape and size, every ability and more importantly every age.  If you need a boost in self confidence, if you have a few or more pounds to shed, if you want something new and want to empower yourself, then, Martial arts classes are for you.  Martial arts in an overall complete mind and body connection and its not as hard as you think!  "Between work, life and my sons' activities, it is hard to find time for myself. Cervizzi's class times work great with my schedule.I am not coordinated and have never joined any type of workout class, I joined and felt at ease right away. Each instructor is helpful, they push you to be your best!I have just rejoined for the year, I can't imagine not doing this for myself."  This is a quote from an adult female student.   I encourage women everywhere to try it, what do you have to lose, NOTHING, and everything to gain.  Contact Sensei Janice at cervizzis@aol.com with any questions.
