Bridgewell honors Johnson and Meservey



More than four hundred people gathered recently at
the Seaport Hotel in Boston as Bridgewell honored Salem University President Patricia Meservey and ABC News and Channel 5 senior medical
editor, Dr. Timothy Johnson
. Johnson received Bridgewell’s 2013 Visionary
Leadership Award
for his pioneering work educating the public on behalf of
people with physical, mental and developmental
disabilities.  Meservey received Bridgewell’s Excellence in Service Award ,
given in honor of her exemplary commitment to those in need in our communities.



The gala was emceed by former WBZ-TV Channel 4’s
former sportscaster Bob Lobel, who was honored two years ago by Bridgewell, a
leading provider of services to adults with developmental disabilities.  This year’s event raised nearly $290,000.
