Yvonne Blacker's Work Featured At Wenham Museum Show

Lynnfield resident Yvonne Blacker of Yvonne Blacker Interiors is featured as one of the region's finest interior designers in the fourth annual North Shore Design Show to benefit the Wenham Museum, Saturday, May 12 through Sunday, May 20.

Interior designers from the North Shore and Boston were invited to create “favorite spaces” inspired by the museum’s mission celebrating the history and culture of the North Shore.  From an elegant gentleman’s study and a beachy cottage bedroom, to a stylish horse country tack room and a playful tree house bower, visitors will delight in the museum galleries transformed into designers’ one-of-a-kind vignettes while supporting the museum in its 90th year.

Selected as a featured designer for the fourth season, Ms. Blacker has chosen to create a modern family mudroom in this year’s show. Her favorite space is designed to ease the comings and goings of today’s family-on-the-go with a place for everything and everything is in its place. This classic New England mudroom can deliver both form and function beautifully with storage for backpacks, shoes, sporting equipment, coats and more as well as a large scale rustic sink for flower arranging or pet washing, and a comfortable bench. Ms. Blacker, who also holds the position of Designer Bath & Salem Plumbing Supply’s Advertising Manager , collaborated with area designers at Circle Furniture, Lucia Lighting, Landry & Arcari, Tile by Design, Howell Custom Build and Laura Thomson Floral Design.
