Yard House Opens Thursday at MarketStreet Lynnfield

Restaurant held ribbon cutting Tuesday featuring $2,000 donation to Haven From Hunger.

Yard House will become the newest business to open at MarketStreet Lynnfield Thursday at lunchtime. To kick off its newest location, company representatives held a ribbon cutting and opening celebration Tuesday that included a $2,000 donation to Haven From Hunger, which serves Lynnfield, Salem and Peabody.

Staff members reportedly spent the last several weeks training for the grand opening of the restaurant, which is known for its large selection of craft beers, some of which will be from the Boston area. There's a large food menu with a selection that ranges from Korean or Latin American-inspired tacos to burgers, pizzas, ribs and other entrees. The restaurant has locations in about 18 states.

Donations Will Help Local Hunger Relief

Before the ribbon cutting, Haven From Hunger Director Alyse Barbash told Lynnfield Patch that the organization will pick up donated food from Yard House twice a week - with a separate arrangement to also pick up food from the nearby Whole Foods three times weekly.

Meanwhile, Barbash also reported that Haven From Hunger continues working on its capital campaign, with an eye on eventually purchasing the building on Wallis Street in downtown Peabody where it's currently located. To learn more about Haven From Hunger, click here
