Yard House Announces Opening Date at MarketStreet Lynnfield

Upscale restaurant chain features 140 beer selections.

Yard House, an upscale restaurant chain featuring a large beer selection, announced this week that it will open its new MarketStreet Lynnfield on Thursday, September 5.

The 12,000 square foot restaurant will reportedly feature 140 draught beer selections while serving a variety of lunch and dinner options with classic and contemporary rock music and flat screen television sets providing entertainment. At least 20 of the beers will come from Massachusetts breweries. The restaurant will have indoor seating for 300, with an outdoor patio that can seat an additional 100 people.

According to the company’s announcement, the restaurant will feature abstract art commissioned by California artist Jerome Gastraldi, as well as an open floor plan with a mix of wood and stainless steel accents.

“Boston is a great market for Yard House. It’s a city with a rich history in beer and a vibrant culinary scene, which is the perfect combination for our restaurant,” said Harald Herrmann, president of Yard House Restaurants.

On its company website, Yard House also reports that it is currently hiring various staff for its location at MarketStreet Lynnfield. Businesses at MarketStreet Lynnfield will begin opening in late August, with others following throughout the fall months.

Lynnfield will be the 47th location in 16 states for the Yard House, which was founded in Long Beach, California in 1996.
