Whole Foods Announces Lynnfield Opening Date
Supermarket chain set to open new location at MarketStreet Lynnfield soon.
Whole Foods, one of the most high-profile tenants in the MarketStreet Lynnfield development, has announced that it will open the new location
On Wednesday, August 21. The opening will kick off with the company’s traditional bread-breaking ceremony at 9:45 a.m., according to a Whole Foods announcement.
The Whole Foods at MarketStreet Lynnfield will boast 45,000 square feet of space, as well as 180 full and part time employees. This particular store will also feature a so-called “green roof” where organic produce will be grown. With the Lynnfield opening, there will be 26 Whole Foods stores in Massachusetts.

The company announcement also indicated that the Lynnfield store will feature and indoor café and an outdoor seating area with fire pits, as well as other features such as a cheese room with cut-to-order selections, beer and wine, a pizza oven, a fresh juice bar, and frozen yogurt.
