VIDEO: Steve DiFillippo on Northern Italian Cuisine
Steve DiFillippo, the owner of Davio's and a former Lynnfield resident, talked at a past Lynnfield selectmen's meeting.
As noted in this separate article today on Lynnfield Patch, selectmen have approved liquor licenses for two more restaurants at MarketStreet Lynnfield - Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse and the Yard House.
Davio's owner Steve DiFillippo grew up in Lynnfield and was the restaurant's original chef when he opened up on Newbury Street in Boston back in 1985.
In this video clip, he talks about the differences one might find in the cuisine to the north of Rome compared to well-known southern Italian style dishes.
