Reedy Meadow-Themed Playground Will be at MarketStreet Lynnfield

Sculpture park at development off Route 128 will include climbable frogs and turtles for the kids.

A playground to be built at MarketStreet Lynnfield will be inspired by the nearby Reedy Meadow, Ted Tye of National Development told Lynnfield Patch earlier this month during a site visit.

Tye described the planned area as an interactive sculpture park that will feature climbable frogs, turtles, birds, and other things associated with Reedy Meadow - including steel reeds and lily pad stepping stones.

There will be an interpretive sign providing information about the nearby meadow, and at night it will reportedly be lit from below to provide a more enhanced visual effect. The area will reportedly be located near what will be a Starbucks when MarketStreet Lynnfield formally opens late this summer.
