'Made In The Shade' Car Contest Announced

The Wakefield Chamber of Commerce will be awarding a 2010 Suzuki Kizashi Sport GTS on August 13 to the lucky winner of its ‘Made in the Shade’ Car Drawing. Manchester Suzuki of Manchester, New Hampshire has generously donated the car, valued at $24,814 to the local Chamber.

 Only 300 tickets for the drawing will be sold at $100 per ticket, according to Chamber Executive Director Kendall Inglese.

The car, which has been spotted around town sporting a big red bow, will be on display at the Sidewalk Sale in downtown Wakefield on June 18 and the Shopping Spree Nights June 20 through 24 along with other events leading up to the prize drawing during the Italian Festival on August 13 at 5 p.m.

According to Wakefield Chamber of Commerce co-Presidents Suzanne Bowering and Tania Alongi, proceeds from the drawing will be used for events and Chamber programs in Wakefield.

 Tickets are $100 each, and ticket sales will be capped at 300. A second prize of $1,000 will also be awarded to the second place winner. Tickets can be purchased by any U.S. resident age 18 or older from any Chamber Board Member or at Holiday Travel, 402 Main Street, Wakefield. Rules and specifications can be found on the back of the ticket as well as at the Chamber office, 467 Main Street, Wakefield, or on the Chamber website www.WakefieldsChamber.org.

Winners do not have to be present at the August 13 drawing and the two prize winners will be notified according to the information provided on the ticket by the buyer at the time of purchase (cash or check accepted). Wakefield Chamber members and directors are eligible, although Chamber membership is not required to participate.

An independent accountant who is not a Chamber member will verify drawing entries. The contest complies with all state and federal regulations
