Lynnfield's Newest Gym – Fitness Together

There is a new gym in town. Fitness Together focuses on personal training and building a one on one system to achieve your health goals. Patch sits down with Manager, Dina Whalen, to learn more.

Fitness Together is Lynnfield's latest personal training hot spot. Located at 10A Post Office Square, Fitness Together's motto is “1 Client, 1 Trainer, 1 Goal,” a slogan indicative of Fitness Together's close relationship to each of their members.

Manager of Fitness Together, Dina Whalen, labeled three specifics areas that she and her staff focus on to get you in the best shape possible.

  • Aspire 8 – A resistance training program that utilizes personal assessments, functional cross-muscular training approaches, and periodization techniques to change things up for continued results.
  • Cardio Together - This function offers a customized cardio prescription that combines fartlek, interval, and tempo workouts with a focus on exercise frequency, intensity, duration and progression to achieve maximum results.
  • Nutrition Together – This program offers an educational and accountability framework to improve your eating lifestyle. By eating the right foods, the right portions and the right frequency, along with our other programs the results are truly amazing.

“Fitness Together's one-of-a-kind private studios are dedicated exclusively to helping you achieve your goals during your exclusive one-on-one personal training sessions,” detailed Whalen. “It's just you and one of our certified personal trainers, with no distractions to interrupt or interfere with your progress.”

Fitness Together's main attraction is its more relaxed and intimate atmosphere. Gone are the noisy, packed gyms, with no waiting for equipment to free up. Running side-by-side with this smaller arena, is the fact that Fitness Together is all about you; finding out the best fitness regiment for your personal goals with regular evaluations and tweaks to make sure you're abilities align with your next health achievement.

When asked about pricing, Whalen explained, “Just like the fitness program the personal training packages are fit to the individual. We have no membership fees. Based on the persons goals we determine how many times per week and how long it will take to reach them and build a package to suit. You only use sessions when meeting with a trainer so there is no “waste” just results.”
