LeColst: Pocahontas Self-Serve Available For Now

Donnie LeColst, co-owner of Pocahontas Spring Water in Lynnfield, told Lynnfield Patch in an email that self-service is available for now at 110-year old company.

Last month, this website , due to the expected financial costs of bringing the business up to code.  

The day before it closed, and kept it in his family until the 1960s, when it was sold to the LeColst family.

Now, current co-owner Donnie LeColst reported in an email this week to Lynnfield Patch that while the bottling facility at Pocahontas remains closed, customers are still welcome to come and fill up one and five gallon jugs for purchase, just as they have for decades.

However, LeColst also emphasized that this is just temporary.  LeColst has not reported at this point to a follow-up email inquiring how long he will keep the self-service facility open for. As noted in the original story about Pocahontas though, the company’s permit was actually good until the end of June.
