Hood To Serve Up 1,200 Gallons Of Ice Cream At Scooper Bowl

HP Hood and Brigham’s Ice Cream are serving a combined 1,200 gallons of ice cream and frozen yogurt at the 29th annual all-you-can-eat ice cream festival, presented by FedEx, on June 7, 8 and 9 at Boston City Hall Plaza. One hundred percent of the ice cream, labor and scoopers are donated.

They will be serving Hood BoSox Brownie, Hood Frozen Tangy Yogurt Raspberry Vanilla, Brigham's Oreo® and Brigham's Mocha Chip. Others dishing out more than 30 flavors of ice cream, frozen yogurt, and sorbet include Baskin-Robbins, Ben & Jerry’s, Breyer's, Ciao Bella, Edy's, Friendly’s and SoCo Creamery.

Rain or shine, the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl® is open from noon – 8 p.m. Admission to the Scooper Bowl® is $8 for adults (ages 10 +), $4 for children (ages 3-9), and free for children who are 3 and younger.

Since its inception in 1983 the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl® has raised more than $2.9 million for cancer research and care for adults and children at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. For more information and to purchase tickets visit www.scooperbowl.org or call (800) 525-4669.
